Bethells Beach Cottages

The location is unbeatable and unique, close to the stunning cliffs and beautiful Phia and KareKare beaches. the staff at Bethells Beach Cottages were incredibly helpful and friendly, offering excellent recommendations.

Everything was excellent, the parking was on site, the room was big size. There were a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a dining area in the room, really enjoyed that...

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 2 nights, though everything was perfect. Got apartment especially in the kitchen when arrived, really enjoyed that. It was nice to have a microwave, an electric kettle, and fridges available. The location of the property was beautiful and absolutely perfect, especially so close to the centre of Auckland.

We loved enjoying the amazing food and top-notch service at this place's restaurant.

Everything was great, unique location not far from the beautiful and rugged Bethells Beach, the distant cliffs, and Phia, fabulous experience. Hotel's room was big size and clean with an epic view out to Bethells beach. I had central heating, a cable TV with on-demand movies, and a microwave oven in the room.

The hotel is located in a stunning and amazing location, surrounded by nature. The room I booked had delightful views of the beach and surrounding areas. The staff was really helpful and friendly towards the guests.

Cottage was spotless! Stunning location with a Scandinavian hot tub to soak in while waves crash against distant cliffs. Host John gave great local insights and recommended an amazing restaurant for food and service.

The location of the cottages is great as it's close to Bethells Beach, with nice views overlooking the sand dunes. I appreciated having an electric kettle, fridge, and oven in the cottage. the views from the cottage across the garden and down to the bush were lovely.

Great location! Some parts of the property have amazing views of the local area. Plus, it's just a 10-minute walk to Wigmore Bay Beach 🏖️. the rooms are spacious and there's convenient onsite parking available.

The charm of the cottage was truly delightful. The creative touches in the design and decoration added a whimsical atmosphere that made me feel like I was staying in a fairy tale. The open plan living area with comfortable lounge chairs and a cozy wood fire was perfect for relaxing. I also loved the French doors that opened onto a lovely patio, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. This made it easy for me, as a senior woman, to enjoy the beautiful surroundings without having to navigate any stairs or difficult terrain.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to have more assistance available for senior guests. While the children working there were polite and friendly, I would have appreciated some additional support to make my vacation even more enjoyable.

What a beautiful spot - high on a hill looking down on the sand dunes, the beach, and cliffs. The cottage was thoughtfully prepared, clean, and comfortable. Our hosts were very hospitable and had excellent advice on what to see. The cottage included a sunroom where we relaxed and enjoyed the fine views. We had a peaceful and rejuvenating weekend getaway. I highly recommend this place.
